The latest happenings at Sundance:
Those protestors from Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, KS, crashed the film festival on Sunday night in a noisy demonstration picketing Kevin Smith’s latest film, Red State. (For the record, the movie is a religious-horror teen sex comedy.) But it was the amusing group of mock protesters by the students at Park City High School that caught my eye while on my way to the Eccles Theatre. Yielding signs declaring “Taylor Swift is Hot!” and “I am Famous!”, it was an anti-protest for that circus sideshow of a church group that occurred later.
